We are a community of strong, faith-filled women, inspired by the powerful scriptures in John chapter 4 and 5. Just as Jesus offered living water to the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:14), we aim to uplift and quench the thirst of your soul.
In John 5:8, Jesus tells the paralyzed man to "Get up, pick up your mat and walk."
Similarly, we encourage you to rise above any challenges, embrace your worth, and walk confidently in your purpose.

In the Eye of The Beholder Art Gallery & Studio

The Eye of the Beholder was cultivated by the owner and curator, Maria M. Williams. Williams saw there was a lack of representation of artists deriving from the African diaspora in San Antonio, Texas. In 2019 Williams created the Initiative, The Art of Four, showcasing four local artists of color here in San Antonio, Texas; The Art of Four has since grown to house 15 artists and opening a gallery, In The Eye of the Beholder Art Gallery and Studio, to house the artworks of those artists.
